Epping squash teams, scheduled to play at home in the fixture need to reverse the Draw in Grades 2 & 3 and play at the away team venue, if Epping is play epping, you will be advised on court availability (mainly scheduled at Essendon). This is due to no matches will be played at Diamond Valley or RMIT until further notice.

We commence Squash for the Autumn season on the 28th February, see first 6 rounds of fixture. Matches with Epping as the HOME team will be played at RMIT until further notice. This squash season may be a little bit wobbly re Covid and we may need to be a little more flexible with the rules re team compositions hence there are only 6 weeks listed in the Draw. This will hopefully settle and we will be able to furnish the rest of the Fixture with some level of confidence. It will be important that Captains let Venue Operators know asap if they have a hiccup in their team line up. Cost this season is still $20 and there will be no membership fees again (probably recommencing for the Spring season.)

Lynne just got an email from Grant Booker ex-councillor for Nillumbik which will be of interest to all our members primarily re car parking fees for Diamond Valley Sports Centre assuming we ever get back there! You can lodge your own protest re this if you wish but submissions close this Sunday 26/9 at 12pm. I've included the 'go to' if you wish for more info..... https://participate.nillumbik.vic.gov.au/hospital

Hello... our midweek squash competition will be a little different this season. first 6 rounds will be played and then adjusted section will lead to another set of fixtures and regrading of teams! Also, to compensate for the BYE we will need to average the results for grades 2 and 4 to establish the Ladder positions at the end of round 6. Grades 1, 3 and 5 will be the Ladder positions as they stand.

Yes we can play next week - thank goodness BUT: No spectators; 1 person per 4 square meters with a maximum of 10 Indoors(presume in each indoor space). So in order to meet these restrictions, players/participants will need to ensure their 1.5m distance from each other when not participating in their match and stick to the assigned area for their teams Finals without moving around too much. Please let all involved know we have permission to play next week with strict restrictions. ** CLICK BLOG TO READ MORE ABOUT OTHER MEASURES **

Epping will be completing this Midweek season at RMIT and for Thursday night playing at Essendon. For those matches listed as 'HOME' matches, please consider RMIT as the Home base. 7.30pm start and we may have to play on a couple of courts to get through before 10pm. Obviously there will not be a Supper component Midweek. Essendon will be able to host Suppers for the Thursday evening comp.

Supper are back in a limited format. Basically, IF players wish to partake in a supper then they will need to bring their own - just a small plate to share with anyone else who wishes to stay. Currently Werribee and RMIT(Epping) will not be able to host Suppers. So that leaves Fitzy, Essendon and Gladstone Park can host suppers.

There will not be Suppers at any venue this season given the change to the number of persons allowed to congregate together currently. Hopefully we will not have to make any other adjustments.
